The story behind the name KOTA
When the company was founded, there was early discussion about how challenging the family name Wojtyczka might be to pronounce. Rather than simplify the name for convenience, Tad chose a different path—one that ensured the business would still carry the identity and values of the entire family.
KOTA was created as an acronym, formed from the first letters of each family member’s name. While the name itself is simple, it represents something much deeper: a shared commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and accountability.
